*Cayman Air now flies to Jamaica and soon to Cuba
Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac are ports of entry and are served by International Airport's, Owen Roberts in George Town and Gerard Smith International Airport on Cayman Brac. Little Cayman is served by inter-island flights arriving at Edward Bodden Airport. Grand Cayman is about a 70-minute flight from Miami.
Major airlines such as American, Delta, British Airways, US, Air Jamaica and of course our own Cayman Airways serve the Cayman Islands with up to 108 flights a week, 70 of those between Cayman and Miami.
Other major cities accessed include Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Houston, Charlotte NC, Kingston, Jamaica, Nassau and London (Gatwick). Islena connects Cayman with La Ceiba, Honduras, and Cubana Airlines offers regular flights from Grand Cayman to Havana.
Cayman Airways offers more non-stop flights between Grand Cayman and the US than any other airline, including 3 conveniently scheduled daily flights from Miami, and regular service several times a week from Tampa, Orlando and Houston.
There are several charter flights which also operate from various US cities and Canada year-round.
We have an excellent inter-island service between Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands. Cayman Airways provides evening jet service to Cayman Brac five evenings a week, and an early morning service between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac three times a week.
Island Air (345-949-5252) based at Owen Roberts International Airport, George Town, also offers scheduled daily inter-island service between Grand Cayman and Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Island Air flies from Grand Cayman to the Sister Islands twice a day via 19-passenger turboprop Twin Otter, 7-passenger Navajo Chieftain and 6-passenger Islander aircraft. Charter service is also available upon request on a 6-passenger Lear jet B-20. The flight between Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands is approximately 45 minutes.
Importing or possession of any kind of illegal drugs including marijuana (ganja) is strictly prohibited by law and violators face arrest and prosecution by local authorities.

Visitors from the US should be aware that products made from farmed green sea turtles available in limited selections at the Cayman Turtle Farm Ltd. are offered for local consumption. The importation of genuine sea turtle products is strictly prohibited by any countries, which have signed the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (1978) including the USA, Canada and UK. In addition, US Customs prohibits the transhipment of turtle products through the US. Any products discovered will be confiscated.
You will not be allowed to bring back any plants or plant seeds, vegetables or fruits unless you have official permits from US Customs. Otherwise, these will be confiscated by Customs at US gateways.
